The 2026 season marks the beginning of a new and ambitious challenge for Marco Butti, who is ready to return as a front-runner in the TCR Europe Touring Car Series with Monlau Motorsport, the reigning Drivers’ and Teams’ Champions. The Como-based driver will be part of a three-car line-up and will compete behind the wheel of a CUPRA Leon VZ TCR, with the clear objective of fighting once again at the top of the championship.

For Butti, this will be his third season in TCR Europe. After winning the Trophy class in his debut year in 2022, the Italian driver continued his career in the TCR Italy championship in 2023, before stepping up to the FIA TCR World Tour in 2024. His return to TCR Europe in 2025 saw him immediately among the main title contenders, heading into the final round of the season as championship leader.

Joining Monlau Motorsport now represents a key strategic step in Butti’s career. The Barcelona-based team enters the 2026 season with a renewed project and a highly competitive line-up. The objective is clear: to defend last year’s titles and reaffirm their position as a benchmark in the category.

Il Rally Il Ciocchetto 2025, in programma dal 19 al 21 dicembre presso la Tenuta Il Ciocco, rappresenterà l’ultimo impegno stagionale per Marco Butti, pronto a tornare in gara in uno degli appuntamenti più attesi e suggestivi del panorama rallistico nazionale. Il pilota comasco sarà al volante della Toyota Yaris Rally2, affiancato dal navigatore Paolo Zanini, con il supporto del team Delta Rally.

Reduce dall’ottima prestazione al Pavia Rally Circuit, dove ha conquistato la vittoria di classe Rally2 e il secondo posto assoluto, Butti arriva al rally natalizio con grande motivazione, determinato a chiudere l’anno sportivo con un’altra prova solida e concreta.

Marco Butti sarà protagonista questo fine settimana al 5° Pavia Rally Circuit 2025, in programma il 29 e 30 novembre presso il Castelletto Circuit, tracciato che il pilota comasco conosce bene e dove ha sempre trovato ottime sensazioni.

A seguito della cancellazione del Monza Rally Show, inizialmente previsto nel suo programma sportivo, Butti e il team Step-Five Motorsport hanno scelto di concludere la stagione partecipando alla gara pavese, con l’obiettivo di mantenere il ritmo agonistico e competere al massimo livello. Al volante della Toyota Yaris Rally2, il pilota sarà affiancato dal navigatore Paolo Zanini.

Butti shines at the rainy Rally Vedovati on his return to rallying

Marco Butti is set to compete this weekend at the 5th Pavia Rally Circuit 2025, scheduled for 29–30 November at the Castelletto Circuit — a venue he knows well and where he has consistently shown speed and confidence.

Following the cancellation of the Monza Rally Show, originally included in his season plan, Butti and the Step-Five Motorsport team decided to close the year by entering the Pavia Rally Circuit, aiming to maintain racing momentum and compete at a high level. He will once again drive the Toyota Yaris Rally2, this time alongside co-driver Paolo Zanini.

Un rientro memorabile. Marco Butti ha firmato un ritorno di altissimo livello nel mondo dei rally, prendendo parte al Rally Vedovati 2025 in un weekend segnato da pioggia incessante e condizioni estremamente impegnative sul tracciato di Monza.
Al volante della Toyota Yaris Rally2 del team Step-Five Motorsport, il giovane pilota comasco ha dato vita a un confronto emozionante e di grande valore sportivo contro il pilota mondiale Andrea Crugnola, confermandosi competitivo fin da subito nel suo ritorno alla specialità.
Butti ha mostrato velocità e determinazione già dalle fasi iniziali della gara, aggiudicandosi le prime due prove speciali del weekend nonostante la pioggia battente. Un segnale chiaro della sua efficacia e della capacità di adattarsi rapidamente alle condizioni insidiose del tracciato.

Il passo mostrato lungo tutto il weekend, unito alla capacità di rimanere costante sotto una pioggia incessante, ha messo in evidenza la maturità e la solidità di Marco.
Il debutto del nuovo equipaggio ha portato anche un importante riconoscimento: il binomio Butti–Botta si è infatti aggiudicato il Premio Vedovati, destinato al miglior equipaggio Under 21.

Butti shines at the rainy Rally Vedovati on his return to rallying

A memorable comeback. Marco Butti delivered a highly impressive return to the rally world at the 2025 Rally Vedovati, held in a weekend dominated by relentless rain and extremely challenging conditions on the Monza circuit.
Driving the Toyota Yaris Rally2 run by Step-Five Motorsport, the young driver from Como engaged in an exciting and high-level battle with World Championship driver Andrea Crugnola, proving immediately competitive in his return to the discipline.
Butti showed speed and determination right from the start, winning the first two special stages of the weekend despite the heavy rain—a clear demonstration of his pace and his ability to quickly adapt to the treacherous conditions.

His consistency throughout the event, combined with the ability to remain fast under constant rain, highlighted Marco’s maturity and solidity as a driver.
The debut of the new crew also brought an important recognition: the Butti–Botta pairing claimed the Vedovati Award, reserved for the best Under-21 crew, underlining the potential of this newly formed duo.

The event also marked the official rally debut of co-driver Andrea Botta, who delivered a precise and confident performance despite the very difficult conditions.

Dopo una stagione concentrata principalmente sull’attività in pista, Marco Butti è pronto a tornare al mondo dei rally, prendendo parte al Rally Vedovati in programma sul circuito di Monza nel weekend del 15 e 16 novembre 2025.

Per il giovane pilota comasco, classe 2005, si tratta di un ritorno molto speciale: proprio al Rally Vedovati nel 2021, a soli 16 anni, Butti divenne il più giovane vincitore assoluto di un rally nella storia italiana. Quattro anni dopo, a 20 anni, affronterà nuovamente l’evento al volante di una Toyota Yaris Rally2 del team Step-Five Motorsport.

Dopo la partecipazione a inizio stagione al Rally di Castelletto, questa sarà la seconda apparizione rallistica del 2025 per Butti, che ritroverà un contesto competitivo di altissimo livello, con molti equipaggi e team di spessore presenti al via.

Debutto speciale. Il Rally Vedovati segnerà anche il debutto assoluto in rally per chi sarà il copilota della Toyota Yaris N°7: Andrea Botta, giovane imprenditore comasco e amico di famiglia, che guiderà Marco in questo impegnativo capitolo della sua carriera sportiva.

Il Rally Vedovati scatterà sabato 15 novembre con lo Shakedown (ore 14.00–15.45), per poi entrare nel vivo domenica 16 con quattro prove speciali sul tracciato brianzolo: due passaggi sulla “Vedovati” (23,78 km) e due sulla “Special Vedovati” (19,62 km), per un totale di 86,8 km cronometrati. L’arrivo è previsto alle 16.30, con la pubblicazione delle classifiche finali alle 18.45.
