Marco Butti è pronto a fare il suo debutto nella Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, in occasione del primo appuntamento della stagione che si disputerà questo fine settimana presso l’Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
Il pilota comasco scenderà in pista con il team The Driving Experiences, dando inizio a una nuova fase della sua carriera in una delle categorie monomarca più competitive del panorama europeo.
Butti arriva a questo appuntamento dopo una positiva sessione di test proprio sul tracciato di Imola, dove ha mostrato un rapido adattamento alla vettura e un buon livello di competitività fin dai primi giri.
Nella Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, tutti i piloti competono con la stessa vettura, la Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, equipaggiata con motore da 3.996 cm³, 510 CV e cambio sequenziale a 6 marce, garantendo così il massimo equilibrio in pista.
“Sono molto motivato all’idea di iniziare questo nuovo percorso nella mia carriera sportiva. Nei test di Imola ci siamo adattati rapidamente alla vettura e questo si è visto anche nei tempi. Imola è un circuito che mi è sempre piaciuto molto e dove abbiamo ottenuto buoni risultati.
Questa sarà una stagione che servirà per adattarci alla categoria e a questo tipo di vetture. Affronteremo tutto con la massima professionalità per fare ogni passo nel modo migliore possibile. Marco Butti is set to make his debut in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia during the opening round of the season, which will take place this weekend at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari.
The Como-born driver will compete with The Driving Experiences, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his racing career in one of the most competitive one-make series in Europe.
Butti heads into the weekend following a positive test session at Imola, where he showed a strong and immediate adaptation to the car, along with competitive lap times from the outset.
In the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, all drivers compete with the same car: the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, featuring a 3,996 cc engine, 510 hp and a 6-speed sequential gearbox, ensuring maximum parity and high-level competition across the field.
“I’m very motivated to begin this new chapter in my racing career. During the Imola test we adapted quickly to the car, and that was reflected in the lap times. Imola is a circuit I’ve always really liked and where we’ve achieved good results.
